ANNLEE
OWNER, DIRECTOR
Annlee Hoy is the founder of Metropolis Dance. She has a background in hip-hop, jazz, and cheer. Her most memorable dance experiences were taking first place at UDA Nationals in 2002 and dancing 3 seasons on the Supersonics Dance Team. (Bring them back!) She also danced with Seattle hip-hop crew PG. Annlee loves the benefits that dance brings physically, emotionally, and the togetherness of community.
Annlee is committed to providing a dance program welcome to students of all levels with an emphasis on building confidence while sharing the joy of dance!
MIKAYLA
COMPETITION TEAM COACH
Mikayla, a Bay Area native, trained in contemporary dance for two years in high school before discovering hip hop and urban dance styles her senior year. She joined a local team which opened up many opportunities for her, such as performing in Disneyland, and competing at a national level. Mikayla has been with Metropolis Dance for 7 years and students adore her fun choreography and loving personality! She got her degree at Seattle Pacific University where she was also the former president and choreographer for SPU’s urban dance crew, Ante Up. Mikayla is head coach and choreographer for our Teen Metropolis Dance competition dance team.

VIVIAN
ASSISTANT MANAGER, INSTRUCTOR HIP-HOP, JAZZ
Vivian Larsen is a teacher, choreographer, and performance artist. She has recently received her BFA in dance from Cornish College of the Arts. Vivian began training at seven in Las Vegas. She has trained in contemporary, ballet, modern, lyrical, and jazz. Vivian studied at Las Vegas Academy of the Arts High School, Las Vegas Dance Academy, and Academy of Nevada Ballet Theatre.
Vivian has worked as an assistant choreographer and dance instructor for Winchester Headliner’s production of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. She has also taught various styles of dance in Las Vegas and the Seattle area. Vivian has also performed and choreographed in many Cornish productions and student-produced productions.
Vivian is currently teaching and choreographing around Seattle and is incredibly excited to work with these amazing students!

JENNILY
INSTRUCTOR
HIP HOP, JAZZ
Jennily is from San Jose, CA and began dancing hip hop at the age of 9. She continued her training in ballet, modern, and jazz dancing in high school, then continued in college, earning her B.A in Dance from the University of Washington. She moved to New York City and studied 3 years at the Broadway Dance Center, training in street styles, musical theater, jazz, contemporary and ballet. Highlights of her career include dancing with Disney Cruise Line and Seattle Musical Theatre. She began working with Metropolis Dance in December 2019 as an instructor and loves seeing young dancers express their individuality.
